Stop publishing journal entries

I want to write more, but the fantasy I have of quickly pushing out some quality take in an hour is insanely unrealistic. What I initially imagine being an insightful blog post almost always turns into a page of intuitive word-vomit. It's dumb and probably counterproductive.

Treat it like an essay you'd write in school

Form an idea and give yourself a timeline. Write drafts, delete shit, do research, challenge every take. Good writing doesn't take shape in an hour. Well, maybe for some people it does, but not most people. If you want to be a good writer with well thought out opinions, take your time. Drive slow, homie.
